Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Shanghai Jiao Tong University is a public research university in Shanghai, China. Established in 1896 as Nanyang Public School by an imperial edict issued by the Guangxu Emperor, it is the second oldest university in China and is renowned as one of the most prestigious and selective universities in China. It is one of the nine members of the elite C9 League, the Chinese equivalent of the Ivy League.
